Payson Park Music Festival

Our 34th Season!!!

The Payson Park Music Festival announces its 34th season of summer entertainment offering musical venues for residents of Belmont and surrounding communities. This year's season of evening concerts begins Wednesday, June 19th, and runs every Wednesday evening until September 4th. Concerts start between 6:30pm and 6:45pm. In August, because of the failing light, we begin between 6:00 and 6:15pm.

This is the second year that Payson Park (where the Series is typically sited ) is still under renovation. This time because the grass needed to be re-seeded. Not sure if the birds ate the first application of seed like in Hansel and Gretal.

Our temporary location remains at the Underwood greenspace above the pool on Underwood Hill. While not perfect, compared to other locations in Belmont, the site offers a flat(-ish) area for the Band to play from, easy access for the bands to unload, safe and ample parking at the Wellington School park, shade and comfortable grass seating (bring your chairs!), a children's playground and sanitary facilities at the very nearby Underwood Pool Bathhouse.

The Town of Belmont requires that Payson Park Music Festival pay permit fees and carry additional insurance. Our Sponsor donations which pay for the Bands are dedicated to the Band they sponsor. This leaves an opportunity for Town residents to fill in the administrative gap. We hope you will make a donation that is financially comfortable for you. We will list your donation on our website.
